Angus Gold are a group of people in the over 50 years plus age bracket, who take an interest in various issues which arise within the village. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month (excepet July/Aug. and Dec) in Jubilee Court at 10 a.m.
Angus Gold also contribute to health and wellbeing by running Seated Exercise Classes and taking elderly people on walks.
SEATED EXERCISE CLASSES
run in the Village Hall on Mondays at 11 a.m. - 12 noon. and at Jubilee Court on Monday afternoons at 1.30 p.m. - 2 p.m.
are led by fully trained and experienced walk leaders and are held every Thursday, leaving Jubilee Court at 3 p.m. After our walk we have a well earned cup of tea.
Angus Gold was also responsible for organising the
SHOPPING BUS. The Shopping Bus provides a door to door service and has two pick up points. Pick up point 1 at the Village Hall at 10.15 a.m. Pick up point 2 at Jubilee Court at 10.20 a.m.At present we travel to Morrison's in Arbroath on the second Tuesday of each month and to Asda in Forfar on the fourth Tuesday of the month. We return to Letham 12.15 p.m. approximately.
