Attended the Letham junior secondary school in the late 1950s the head master at that time was mr,Robertson ie old baldie,the best shops for lunch break time were Edwards the baker and Hamptons also Eckie Lows corner shop and ice cream factory.

Visited your lovely village in Sep 2013.Researching the location my Gr Grandma lived in-Bridgend Cottage. Is there a written history or local history book I could access or buy?
